About Business Brokers Pittsburgh
About Business Brokers Pittsburgh
A business brokerage covering Pittsburgh and the surrounding counties, working with owners of businesses that are too small for an investment bank and too valuable to sell on a whim.

Who we work with
Owner-operated businesses across Pittsburgh and the surrounding counties, from around three million dollars of annual revenue upward. Trades and contracting, manufacturing, distribution, professional services, healthcare practices, and the kind of established local business that has run profitably for fifteen years and has never once been valued.
Plenty of owners make that first call long before they are ready to sell. They want to know what the business is worth, whether an unsolicited offer is fair, or what they should be fixing before they do sell. All three of those are the right call, and none of them requires a listing agreement.
How we work
Valuation first, always. We will not take a listing without one, because a business priced on hope wastes a year of your life and earns us nothing. If the number you need and the number the market will pay are too far apart, we say so at the start.
Confidential by default. Blind profile, non-disclosure agreement before anything identifying, proof of funds before financials. You decide when your team hears it, and our confidentiality policy spells out each stage.
Paid at closing. A success fee, not a retainer. If the deal does not happen, we have not earned anything, which is why we will tell you in month one if a business is not ready.
One point of contact. The person who values your business is the person who takes the buyer calls and sits in the diligence process. Nothing is handed off to an associate once the listing is signed.
Why owners work with us
Confidential from the first call
Nothing goes to market with your name on it. Blind profile first, NDA before anything identifying, financials only to buyers who have proved they can fund the deal.
Valuation before commitment
You get a defensible range and the reasoning behind it before you decide whether to sell at all. No listing agreement required to find out where you stand.
Paid on the outcome, not the hours
A success fee at closing, not a retainer that runs whether the deal happens or not. Our incentive is the same as yours: a closed sale at the right number.
Real buyers, not a national portal
Individual buyers, search funds, private equity, and strategic acquirers already looking at Pennsylvania businesses, not a listing thrown onto a national site and forgotten.
If you want the detail rather than the summary, the full process end to end is covered in how to sell a business in Pittsburgh. Our services page covers valuation, sale, and exit planning separately. And the areas we cover page lists every town across Pittsburgh and the surrounding counties.
Not ready to sell yet? That is fine. Most owners we talk to are not.
A first conversation costs nothing and commits you to nothing. You will come away knowing what your business is worth and what, if anything, you would want to fix before going to market.
